The Zion Endowment Fund is a ministry of Zion Lutheran Church. Funds gifted to the endowment are invested immediately with the income used to support future ministries. Distributions are made from the investment income in the form of grants, while the principal is held in perpetuity to support the ongoing mission of the church.

Endowment Committee
The fund is administered by a committee of 3-5 members who are appointed by the church council and are responsible for encouraging both lifetime and legacy/estate gifts to the endowment, stewardship of the fund’s investments, as well as the review and approval of applications for project funding.

Why give to the Zion Endowment Fund?

How do I contribute to this fund?
• Cash gifts
• Gifts of stocks, bonds and other types of investment products
• Naming the fund as the beneficiary of an insurance policy or annuity
• Property can be transferred directly to the fund or through a life estate contract where title is transferred to the fund but the donor retains the right to the rental income or the right to live on the property
• Legacy gift: remembering Zion Lutheran Church in your will & estate is an extension of the faithful stewardship you’ve practiced during your lifetime
