Wednesday Youth Education Opportunities

Confirmation (7th - 9th grade)

Zion offers a 3 year confirmation program beginning in the 7th grade. Partnering with parents and mentors, we provide opportunities to learn, grow in faith, serve others, form relationships within our faith community and prepare students to affirm their baptism in October of their 10th grade year.

Confirmation meets in person on Wednesdays for large group instruction and small group discussion. Students form long term connections with their faith mentors who encourage and nurture them. Students complete worship notes and service hours to help round out their experience.

PreConfirmation

Fifth and sixth graders are encouraged to participate in PreConfirmation on Wednesday evenings during the school year to help them prepare for Confirmation in 7th grade. This program dives deeper into the Bible and our Christian beliefs while helping students engage in meaningful ways. Each session includes large group gathering, small group discussion and fellowship opportunities.

Club 34

Students in grades 3 and 4 are invited to Club 34, and opportunity to grow in faith, friendships and knowledge on Wednesday evenings. Engaging Bible based material, fun activities and friendly competition combine to make Club 34 a meaningful alternative (or addition) to Sunday School.
